This Titanium specification means we have a panoramic glass roof which floods the cabin with natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. We have two keys and push button start/stop There are alloy wheels along with the locking wheel nut key too. To help with parking we have rear parking sensors & a reversing camera which take the stress out of manoeuvring. Climate control with super-cool A/C (air conditioning) keeps the cabin comfortable in all weathers. The touchscreen infotainment system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, plus Bluetooth for hands-free phone calls and audio streaming. There are then electric mirrors and front/rear electric windows for added convenience. The conversion work has been carried out professionally by Sirus Conversions and it has side-loading entry with powered ramp. Located on the near side of the vehicle this powered side-loading door with an automated ramp, all operated via a wireless remote provides effortless access. Having a side loading access means that the standard boot area is retained and so the rear boot space remains fully usable. There are two rear seats are included, which can be folded away when not needed. It is ideal to have a lowered floor area covering the front of the vehicle as this means we have drive-from-wheelchair capability, so with the installation of a wheelchair clamp (not included), this can become a drive-from-vehicle. The previous owner used it as an up-front passenger vehicle, so a wheelchair securing system is already in place in that position. It is super easy to use and to fasten wheelchair restraint belts. We do have a modified handbrake which is operated via a convenient push-button for easier use. The front driver’s seat can be unclipped and repositioned to the passenger side if you wish to convert it to a drive-from layout. My wheelchair isn’t crash tested. Can I still travel in it in this vehicle? We don’t recommend it. Crash-tested wheelchairs have dedicated securing points for the tie-down system to attach to, and have been tested to withstand the forces of a collision. Wheelchairs that haven’t been tested may not have secure fixing points, and the wheelchair could seriously fail in a crash. If your wheelchair isn’t crash tested, the safest option is usually to transfer to a vehicle seat and use the seatbelt, with the wheelchair stowed securely. In a rear-loading WAV, the wheelchair user enters through the back of the vehicle, using a ramp or lift fitted to the tailgate. It’s the most common design and usually offers good space inside, but you need clear room behind the vehicle to deploy the ramp. In a side-loading WAV, the ramp or lift is at the side, so the wheelchair user enters through a side door. This suits people who often park where there’s little room behind the vehicle, and can make it easier for the wheelchair user to travel nearer the front or, in some conversions, to drive from their wheelchair.
